bacardi on google earth

nothing that new with brands and other random stuff appearing on google earth but thought i would check out the bacardi hq after visiting it in miami:

  

      

that got me looking more at google earth – there is a lot of gumpf out there on images of jesus, UFOs etc but also some quite interesting stuff on how it is being used and humbling insights on perspective it gives.

some of the best stuff i came across includes the mapping of bigfoot reports, the plug in that visualises satellites circling the planet and the weather tools that allow you to overlay storm and lightening strike data:
